The kids, roads closed and loneliness...

Road closed. For the last 24 hours the road between the Big Lew and Pullman has been closed due to drifting snow. Its 40some degrees here in Lewiston and just fine, slight breeze but I guess at the top of the hill its a whole 'nother story. We finally came up with a plan to put them on the bus. But I what if the road closes again and they are stuck on a greyhound. I hope we work something out. I am missing my kids like crazy and ready for them to come home. Their dogs are lonely, I am lonely. Its been long enough. The only good thing about today is that I have dinner plans at a great new restaurant with my hubby and another couple. It will be fun to play grown up's and be out on New Year's. We won't be out late, but it will be fun to have a plan! Take care, be safe and see ya!!!

They are finally home. The roads were not fun, blowing drifting snow. and times where it was compact snow and ice. I am just thankful to be back!!

My hubby's brother was driving back from the hospital in Spokane and hit the road block. He went (very slowly) through Moscow. Glad everyone is home safe.
