You are not going to believe this!

You have to read the story about Alex. His kindergarten class voted hin "out" All the children stood up and told Alex what they didn't like about him. OH MY! I am speechless.

Read his story and then send him a card! Heck bring them to the store and we can mail them together.

I cannot believe this! Jayton is starting Kindergarten in the fall and just last night he was teased about his lip during the Kindergaren Connection and the school. The boy repeated his remarks and all the parent said was to be quiet, no apology to Jayton, nor did the parent explain to his son that what he was saying was wrong. I feel for his mother and the pain she is feeling for her son, kids can be cruel- but I have found out that grown ups are worse. I will be making a card and sending it to him!

oh my gosh, that mother needs a lesson in being polite, taking 30 seconds and meeting Jayt and explaining what's going on would have been GREAT instead she shhhd him. ohhhhhhh. i am so glad I wasn't there.

Where was the teacher in either situation. This doesn't go on in my sweet kindergarten class I can tell you for sure!

Hi!! Thanks for you post today. We sent Alex a letter. I was so shocked about all that this little guy has been through. Kids can be so cruel!

Love your site and your paper!! Sweet!

I CANT BELIEVE THIS, nor can I believe what Tami wrote about Jayt. People are mean. And I agree with Tami, the adults are the worse.

Unbelievable! I am astounded that the teacher (an adult who should know better) led such a cruel, emotionally abusive activity! What a disservice - not just to Alex, but to every child in that class. To encourage the children to publicly humiliate another child and to actually force a child to be mean when he doesn't want to?!!! Where is the compassion? Where is the empathy? This teacher is a person whom we trust to teach our kids from right and wrong - I vote her out of kindergarten and out of teaching.
