August 10th -National Lazy Day

Random fact I ran into today while watching the olympics, and surfing blogs, today is Lazy day. Fun. I did sleep in a bit, but it was planned, Savanny is doing laundry but not too much. Mike is hanging and the dogs are around. I love watching the olympics its exciting to find someone to root for.

I was thinking today about blogging, I use this place as a sounding board, a place to talk things out or for the store, to celebrate someone's life or accomplishment and to seek comfort. Why do you blog? Are their things that are off limits on blogging? I am thinking of separtating this blog from the store blog. Making a whole new one devoted to crafting, stamping, scrapping and paper fun. Keeping one that is more about family, life and stuff. What do you think? Tell me what blogs mean to you!

I have my blog that I share crazy stories about my family and my scrapbooking with my friends, Then I have one for each of my kids... It's a journal to each of them, but I also keep one private for myself. It's my relief. Since I started my personal blog I feel like I'm not so bogged down emotionally. And it's so much easier than writing everything in a journal. Have'n more than one is wonderful. :)

I keep a blog so I can share my art + share photos of my kid-o. My parents and in-laws are 300 miles away, so it is nice for them to check in on Evan a couple times per week. Hopefully I will come for a visit soon!

I agree with Scrapping Mommy - I have thought of opening a private one for ME, Myself & I only - so I can let it fly and have no remorse because I can't really blow steam on my blog in fear of someone lurking and gossiping to someone one else - which you know what most of my complaints are about...I think it would do my soul good to have a private blog to journal my frustrations without ANYONE knowing.....

I started my blog because it sounded like a fun way for friends and family far away to keep in touch with our crazy lives... however, I do keep some things off the blog in fear that a certain person or two or twelve will read it and it will come back to bite me in the bum. Since I am looking for a sounding board, I might begin a private blog to write about the unmentionables...
