IPOD, Cell phone, twitter...

I am travelling at the end of the week for a week and was thinking today I am going to miss my technology just a bit. I decided not to take my laptop because the airlines have decided to cramp my style and charge for luggage. Normally I would make my computer my carry on but instead I have to take my rolling tote for the showroom floor. Jean said she would bring her's so I am not going totally unplugged.... but then I remembered, how am I going to twitter. Where we live there is not the greatest cell phone service so I don't have an iphone in fact I am not that great at texting, I just use the web while I am working away to twit with my pals. so... what am I going to do.. I am going to have to suck it up and either learn to text or go cold turkey... then heck I need to get something on savannah's ipod for the plane ride, its bad when you have to borrow your kids technology for trips. I haven't even needed an ipod really, afterall I don't go far without a child of some kind and they have it all. I am thinking of dowloading a book this time to keep my busy, I used to love to fly, but now its simply overrated. There are bumps and turns, and there will be ice and fog.. short of taking something to knock me silly I need some noise.

I would love to hear whats on your ipod, in your phone or otherwise... any good books I need to listen too?

Of coarse you know I loved the Twilight series....other than that I have not listened to audio books in awhile- I need to go buy one! My ipod has it all... rock, metal, country, hip hop etc etc! I wish I was going to CA- darn economy....but with this darn cold that is lingering it is probably better that I am staying home!

My Itunes is full of EVERYTHING. Rock, Pop, Country, Christian, hey I even have some Larry the Cable Guy. :) No audio books though, that would be my mom. I read Twilight in hardback. :) I too wish I would have been able to go to CA. But you know how it is.. gotta get ready for new windows and a roof.. We start in a few weeks :) Have fun and bring home fun stuff....

I have lots on my iPod and not knowing what type Savannah's is, I'm putting movies on mine for my trip to Hawaii in April. I've never done any books but check with your library first to see if they have any that can just be downloaded to your iPod, I know of several people who have done that and you don't have to pay for it on iTunes. My sister checks out CD's through her library too to put music on hers.
I know what you mean by the frustrations of having to pay to take your bags. We are having to downsize in that area as well..hello...isn't the price of a plane ticket more than enough...geesh.

My phone is my MP3 player... so I have a bunch of Christian stuff (you assumed that right?) as well as some U2 and Van Halen (weren't expecting that, huh?). I don't have audio books because I like to read them instead. Reading a great series by Gilbert Morris called "Lions of Judah." Great historical fiction.

I get annoyed about the luggage fees. Hope your trip is wonderful fun and relaxing too. See you soon!
