quick drop in...
my folks and Savannah are in Seattle this week. Savannah saw a new doctor today for her back... he wants her to do 12 weeks of PT. She is not enthusized at all but its going to take work to dance again, this doctor was very hopeful! Tomorrow they will see the Capital, maybe even a legislative session and do some shopping. Friday they will go to the furniture factory and then come home. She misses home already, isn't that sweet?
Mike is working hard on coming home. Many of you haven't heard an update in awhile but he is working the learning process they have taught him and its working, we are working on a transition plan. We need prayer folks!
The cleaning fairies are still about our house. There is progress. Now if the yard fairies would come back and the sun would shine. Did you watch Oprah today? It was all about decluttering, Peter and Oprah are right... I can testify.
There is a ton of new fun product at the store, you won't believe it, Adorn it, Chatterbox, Prima... more than you need, but will love!

Savannah
Mom and I had the honor of attending the Top 10 Senior dinner of the graduating class of 2009. It was a great nite. We sat with Maria's family, shared a great dinner, listened to a wonderful talk by Sam Adams, and then each Senior was honored. She looked amazing and did GREAT! WE love you and are so PROUD of you Savanny!!!

Loving well at the Lodge
I just got home from a quick girls get away weekend. It was a Beth Moore series with some great friends just an hour away at the most beautiful lodge style hotel. I am so thankful that I have "people" in my life. We can steal away and just love and be loved.

Being Thankful
Iknow its been a long time, life has kind of caught me a bit off guard.. but I need to take a look at what makes me life complete and what I am thankful for.... last weekend Savan and I went to see Jake. It was so nice. It was actually very memorable. He looks so much like his dad. It was wild. We shopped a bit, had a great dinner at the Mustard Seed and just visited. I miss him like crazy. He is doing well in school and seems to be living a good life. I am hoping he will come down for Spring break for a visit. Its been just too long. I am thankful for smart, witty kids who are loving and kind. Thanks God!

I did not drive all the way from the Valley in Spokane just to have a Sonic Diet Coke
I did not drive all the way to Spokane to have lunch w/the Beeson's who live just 10 mins from my home.
I did not gasp when I saw my step son and he much he looks like his dad
I did not let my daughter buy whatever she wanted at Old Navy
I did not go up and down every aisle at Target and hum to myself its a Beautiful World...
I did not make the dogs go back to bed this morning when they woke me up at 7am... and convinced them to stay in bed till 9am....
Not an eventful week but fun.. I made it!
